What are your daily tasks and those of your team?


As with traditional M & A, part of the business is pitching customers on potential M & A or financing opportunities. During executions of mandates, the tasks are more varied. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the daily tasks I was able to perform as an intern on the team:
Update and follow-up of the stock market performance of a file of comparables, bringing together some thirty real estate players, updating brokers' consensus, and quarterly results. It is a long-term work which serves as a pillar for the valorization work carried out.
Assistance of analysts in the marketing phases of the business: production of slides for different pitches, Info Memos, research market / financial information, work of synthesis and formatting.
Assistance in the execution of mandate : management of the process of data room, answer to the urgent requests of the customers, realization of database synthesizing the portfolio of assets ceded ...
Preparation for meetings : research and financial analysis in coordination with the Global Capital Market team, drafting and formatting presentations for seniors.
Generally many tasks in the emergency, because there are several executions of simultaneous mandates in a reduced team (2 analysts only, including one in London) and therefore a very strong exposure for the trainee!
The job is very different at a senior level:
meetings with customers, often on the move
prospecting for new opportunities and financial and real estate news

steering of the different mandates and staffing of the team

The main problem related to the real estate sector is its cyclical nature Salman developers Lahore  .
